Skeletons in the Black Light

There’s a reason why, after all this time

We still feel hollow and shallow inside

Modern life has made us

Skeletons in front of a black light

Dancing with our clothes on

Only our bones visible in that light

In love with our own movement

We are stripped down to a new form

Dots and dashes, lines and reason

Luxury and pretension long gone

And who we are and what is left

Future fossils

Silhouetted in purple blue light

Showing future generations

What’s been left behind
